Privacy Policy

Who we are
InkOps Inc. (“InkOps,” “we,” “us”) provides AI-powered print shop management software. This policy covers the marketing website at www.inkops.ai and the Google-connected Gmail features in the local InkOps operator pilot described below. Other use of the InkOps application is governed by the agreement you enter when you become a customer.
What we collect
- Demo scheduling. When you book a demo, scheduling is handled by Calendly. We receive the information you enter — typically your name, email address, and anything you share about your shop. Calendly’s own privacy policy applies to its processing.
- Account signup. When you start a trial, we send you to the InkOps application to create an account, set up your shop, and begin a card-backed trial through Stripe. Stripe’s own privacy policy applies to payment information it processes.
- Usage analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used — pages visited, approximate location, device and browser information, collected via cookies and similar identifiers. See Google’s privacy policy.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider, Vercel, records standard request logs (such as IP address and pages requested) to operate and secure the site.
Google-connected Gmail operator pilot
A shop operator may choose to connect a Gmail mailbox to the local InkOps operator workspace. InkOps requests permission to read mail in each connected mailbox. The primary mailbox may also grant permission to send mail when the operator enables that feature. Additional connected mailboxes are read-only. InkOps checks the connected address before using it and keeps the Google refresh token in private local configuration on the operator’s computer.
InkOps searches a limited set of received messages and may read a selected message or thread, including sender and recipient addresses, subject, dates, message text, and attachment names. It may read sent messages to recognize existing replies and verify a send. An operator can request an eligible attachment for review; that download is returned to the browser without storing its bytes through that review path. The pilot does not modify or delete Gmail messages.
InkOps uses this information to find apparel requests, show their source context, prepare reviewable work, and, only after the operator approves an exact reply, send it from the enabled primary mailbox. Automated request screening may send limited message details and excerpts to Anthropic. When an operator asks the assistant to work with an email, selected thread content may be sent to Anthropic; a separately requested drafting action may send excerpts to OpenAI. These providers process data for the operator-facing features. InkOps does not sell Gmail data or use it to train general-purpose AI models.
Searching or reviewing mail alone does not import it into an InkOps order. If the operator imports a message, the pilot stores its content, mailbox and message identifiers, headers, and source checks in its database. Drafts and assistant tool results may also retain Gmail-derived content, including thread text. Automated screening records message identifiers, sender, subject, time, and screening outcome. Disconnecting a mailbox removes its local connection and stops future access, but it does not automatically erase previously imported records or assistant results. InkOps’ use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
How we use website information
We use this information to respond to demo requests and other inquiries, route trial signups into the InkOps application, operate and improve the website, and understand which of our marketing works. We do not sell your personal information.
Website information retention
We keep the information listed under "What we collect" only as long as needed for those website purposes, or as required by law, and then delete or anonymize it. Gmail-derived records in the operator pilot are handled as described in the Google-connected Gmail section.
Your choices
You can block cookies in your browser settings. To ask what we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, email hello@inkops.ai and we’ll respond promptly.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update this page and the effective date above. Material changes will be called out clearly.
